PRCC standout Fudge signs
with Louisville
POPLARVILLE - Wide
receiver-return specialist Keshan Fudge of Pearl River
Community College has signed
a scholarship with the University of Louisville.
The six-foot, 180-pound Fudge, a former Hattiesburg High School star, chose
Louisville over University of Kentucky, Troy (Ala.) State and the University
of Southern Mississippi.
Fudge led the Wildcats in receiving his freshman and sophomore years at
PRCC. As a freshman, he caught eight passes for 357 yards. As a sophomore,
he caught seven passes for 108 yards. He also scored three touchdowns his
sophomore season.
As a return specialist, Fudge led the Wildcats in kickoff returns with
261 yards on 12 attempts as a sophomore. He was also tops on the team in
punt returns with 216 yards on 12 attempts. His longest return was 50 yards
for a touchdown.

Lumberton High's Parks
signs with Wildcats
POPLARVILLE
Lumberton High School baseball standout Josh Parks has signed a grant-in-aid
scholarship with the Pearl River Community College Wildcats for the 2001-2002
season.
Parks, the son of Bret and Carol Parks of Lumberton, led Coach Joe Hartfield's
Panthers inbatting this season with a .409 average, including an impressive
.585 on-base percentage. He cracked17 doubles and boasted 42 runs batted
in during the 2001 season.
