Lady 'Cats pound ASCC
PRCC takes 88-75 road victory after demolishing the
Lady Eagles 105-46 Nov. 11
                         
     MONROEVILLE, Ala.   Pearl River Community College's Lady Wildcats pounded
Alabama Southern for the second time in as many weeks here Saturday, punishing the host Lady Eagles 88-75.
     PRCC, now 2-4 overall, wiped out ASCC 105-46 Nov. 11 for its first victory of the
season. Pearl River led 42-36 at the half.
     Carmen Labat of Bay High led all scorers in the contest with 25 points, while Kim
Winfrey of Oak Grove added a season-high 17, Yolanda Hartfield of Hattiesburg High 13, Kira Tillman of Poplarville High 8, Samantha Flennory of North Forrest 7, Monique Dale of South Jones and Ashley Smith of Beaumont, Tex., 6 each; and Nikki Smith 
of Poplarville High 5.
     April Young paced the Lady Eagles with 18 points, while Reneshia Richardson
added 16, Shana Smith 12, Darchell Robinson 10, Denise Stocker 5, Shantavia 
Peters and Ginger Hollinger, 4 each; and Thelma Jones 2.
