The Pearl River Community College

Pearl River Community College All-American slugger Rhyne Hughes of Picayune
High signed with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays Tuesday.
Hughes, who signed with
the Ole Miss Rebels in January, was selected in the eighth round of the
2004 Major League Baseball Draft by Tampa Bay in June. He led the nation
in home runs with 18 this past season and was the 225th overall pick in
the first round of the MLB annual draft...more
