PRCC fall registration begins next week

      POPLARVILLE - Pearl River Community College officially kicks off a new school year next week when faculty and professional staff members return to campus.
          Registration activities begin next week, starting Thursday (Aug. 10) in Hancock County with student registration from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at PRCC’s Hancock Center on U.S. 90. 
          Registration continues Friday (Aug. 11) and Monday (Aug. 14)  from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Forrest County Center in Hattiesburg. Day and night registration for academic classes will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room in Building 5. 
          Registration for day and night classes on the Poplarville campus will be from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Aug. 17-18. Fall classes begin Monday, Aug. 21. Late registration will be held Aug. 22-25.
          Faculty and staff will meet with PRCC President William Lewis on Tuesday, Aug. 15, in the Nursing Building on the Poplarville campus. Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 16, academic faculty will meet with Dr. John Grant, Vice President for Instruction. Career-technical faculty will meet with Don Welsh, Career-Technical Director at PRCC, and Dr. Cecil Burt, Dean of the Forrest County Center in Hattiesburg. 
          Dr. Lewis will meet with new faculty and staff at noon Tuesday in the Olivia Bender Cafeteria. 
          Pearl River Community College serves Forrest, Hancock, Jefferson Davis, Lamar, Marion and Pearl River counties.
