ribbon-cutting ceremony at Pearl River Community College’s Forrest County
Center marked a new day for the Hattiesburg campus, which is located on

PRCC Class of 2006
During Pearl River
Community College’s 96th commencement exercises this May in the Forrest
County Multi Purpose Center in Hattiesburg, some 550 students were awarded
their degrees in either Associate in Arts, Applied Science or Certificates
of Proficiency. It was the first time a PRCC graduation has been
held off the main campus. In the past, separate graduation services
were held for career-technical graduates and academic graduates on the
same day in M.R. White Coliseum on the PRCC main campus. But since White
Coliseum was heavily damaged by Katrina, graduation was moved to Hattiesburg
and combined into one ceremony...more
