College Museum seeking artifacts
Pearl River Community
College Museum is the only community college operated museum in the state
and one of only a handful in the nation. Founded in 2001, the museum
has grown from one small room to more than 2,000 square feet of exhibit
space. Kathryn Moody, the Museum Advisory Board’s first chairman
recently mounted a campaign to save the college’s history by petitioning
friends, family and acquaintances to give their memorabilia to the museum...more
