PRCC offering AutoCAD classes

     HATTIESBURG - Workforce Education at Pearl River Community College will be offering beginning, intermediate and advanced AutoCAD classes, beginning Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Lowery Woodall Advanced Technology Center."We are offering those classes on Saturdays in order to accommodate individuals who are currently in the workforce, but would like to advance their skills," said Scott Alsobrooks, Director of Workforce Education. The classes cost $175 per class or participants can take all three courses for $450. Registration is underway and classes are limited. You must pre-register for the class.

The schedule:
      Beginning AutoCAD: Feb. 9, 16, 23 and March 1. This course will use CAD software to design and draw various objects in the architectural, mechanical and civil drafting areas. Intermediate AutoCAD: March 8, 15, 22 and 29. This course is designed as a continuation of principles of CAD. Subjects include dimensioning, sectional views, auxiliary views and symbols. Advanced AutoCAD: April 5, 12, 19 ands 26. This course explores the three-dimensional viewing and construction capabilities of CAD. The creation of Presentation graphing using Bitmap Files, Shading, and Rendering are also discussed.
