PRCC summer registration dates are set

     Registration for students attending Pearl River Community College during the 2008 summer semester will be held on the Poplarville, Hattiesburg and Waveland campuses.
      At the Hancock Center in Waveland, new students can register for classes from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14.
      At the Forrest County Center in Hattiesburg, new students can register for day and night classes from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, in the Multi_Purpose Room. The Forrest County Center is located at 5448 U.S. 49 South.
      On the Poplarville campus, new students can register for day and night classes from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Monday, May 19 in the Administration Building.
      Night classes begin Tuesday, May 20. Day classes for the first term begin Tuesday, May 27. Day classes for the second term begin Wednesday, June 25.
      Summer night classes are also being offered in Kiln at Hancock High School, Picayune and Columbia.
      Night classes at the Waveland Hancock Center include English Composition I & II, General Psychology I, American (U.S.) History I, College Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, Trigonometry, Intermediate English, Reading Comprehension and World Civilization I.
      Night classes at Columbia High School include English Composition I & II, World Literature I, College Algebra, Music Appreciation, General Psychology I, and Intermediate Algebra.
      Night class at Picayune High School is Music Appreciation (non-music major).
      PRCC will also offer weekend classes in Hattiesburg, Poplarville and Picayune.
      In Hattiesburg, World Civilization II will be offered June 6-8, July 18-20 and July 26 for the final exam. Legal Environment of Business will be offered June 6-8, June 20-22 and June 27 for the final exam.
      In Poplarville, Introduction to Sociology will be offered June 6-8, June 20-22, and June 27 for the final exam. First Aid-CPR will be offered June 13-15, June 27-29 and July 11 for the final exam. Public Speaking I will be offered June 6-8, June 20-22 and June 27 for the final exam. Principles of Accounting will be offered June 27-29, July 11-13 and July 18 for the final exam.
      American Literature I will be offered June 6-8, June 20-22 and June 27 for the final exam. Personal and Community Health will be offered June 6-8, June 20-22 and June 27 for the final exam.
      In Picayune, Atypical Child Development will be offered July 11-13, July 25-27 and Aug. 1 for the final exam. Nutrition for Young Children will be offered June 6-8, June 20-22 and June 27 for the final exam. Picayune classes will be held at Picayune Early Head Start.
