Lady Wildcat Overall Skills Camp set for May 28-30 at Pearl River

     POPLARVILLE — The 2008 Lady Wildcat Overall Skills Camp is set for May 28-20 here on the campus of Pearl River Community College, says head softball coach Leigh White.
      Cost for the three-day camp (Wednesday through Friday) is $80 and will be held daily in Lady Wildcat Stadium from 8 a.m. until 12 noon for 6-12 and 12-18-year-old age groups. The deadline for pre-registration is May 23.
      Campers should bring a bat and a glove, tee-shirt, tennis shoes or cleats, and athletic shorts or softball pants.
      The camp will cover all aspects of softball. Instruction will center on hitting, pitching, defense, base running, and bunting, and will include games organized by age groups.
      White will direct the camp and will the assisted by assistant coaches Meagan Dawson and Nikki Breland and Lady Wildcat players.
