Watch PRCC baseball opener via webcast
Wildcats open Saturday in First Pitch Classic against St. Pete at Gulf Coast in Panama City, Fla.

    POPLARVILLE — Pearl River Community College opens its 2010 baseball season Saturday against St. Pete CC (Fla.) in the First Pitch Classic Tournament in Panama City, Fla.
    The event is hosted by Gulf Coast CC (Fla.).
    Panhandle Sports Broadcasting will provide the play-by-play via Live Streaming Video (www.psblive.com). Games will also be covered via Live Stat Tracker.
    Other participating teams include host Gulf Coast, Central Alabama (Ala.), Chipola (Fla.), Meridian, Young-Harris (Ga.), and Wallace-Hanceville (Ala.).
    The winner of the Wildcat opener, set for 10 a.m., will face against the winner of Friday’s Gulf Coast versus Wallace-Hanceville game at 7 p.m. Saturday. The loser of the PRCC opener will take on the loser of the GC-W-H game at 3 p.m. Sunday.
