Hoops tip off times for Thursday’s Pearl River-Southwest Mississippi games moved to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Winter storm warnings prompt change due to possible dangerous road conditions

    POPLARVILLE — The tip off times for Pearl River Community College’s MACJC South Division women’s and men’s basketball games with Southwest Mississippi set for Thursday here in Shivers Gymnasium have been changed due to possible dangerous road conditions from the winter storm that is to hit the state.
    Game times have been moved up an hour to 4 p.m. (women) and 6 p.m. (men) from the previously scheduled times of 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
    Following Thursday’s contests with Southwest, Pearl River wraps its regular season against two division foe. East Central visits Monday at 5 p.m. (women) and 7 p.m. (men), then Copiah-Lincoln plays host in Wesson at 6 p.m. (women) and 8 p.m. (men).
