Johnson named Miss PRCC Wildcat
POPLARVILLE - Andrea Johnson of Wiggins captured the Miss PRCC Wildcat crown Thursday night at Pearl River Community College in Poplarville.
Johnson, 18, is taking pre-requisite courses for the dental hygiene program and is a member of the Science Club at PRCC’s Forrest County Center.
In her spare time, she enjoys dancing and teaching dance classes, playing and coaching tennis and painting.
First alternate was Heather McLain, 18, of Taylorsville. She is a dental hygiene major and a member of the PRCC Diamond Girls.
Cameron Edwards, 19, of Hattiesburg was second alternate. She is a pre-nursing major and a member of the Diamond Girls, River Navigators recruiting team and the Baptist Student Union.
Third alternate was Chelsie Lynn Dobbins, 19, of Hattiesburg. A speech pathology major, she is a PRCC cheerleader and was selected for the Honors Leadership Forum.
The Spirit Award went to Joann Guillot, 19, a respiratory therapy major from Poplarville.
Judges were Christy Irvine of Bogalusa, La., a graduate student at Southeastern Louisiana University; Cyndy Bryant of Slidell, La., a certified registered nurse case manager in St. Tammany Parish and a PRCC graduate; and Lisa Killens of the Crossroads community, an accounting technician at Louisiana Technical College.
