PRCC to host Troy University Arts Trio

    POPLARVILLE - Pearl River Community College will host a guest performance by the Troy University Arts Trio at 10:50 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, in Malone Chapel on the Poplarville campus.
    The concert is part of the trio’s spring tour.
    The trio will perform "Demondance" by Carl Vollrath, the first, second and third movements of "Concerto in D" by Giuseppe Tartine, "Jeux d’eau" by Maurice Ravel, "Tandem" by Jean-Pierre Mathez, the second movement of "Sonata for Clarinet and Piano" by Leonard Bernstein and the first, second and third movements of "Double Concerto" by Gordon Jacob.
    Trio members are Dr. Timothy Phillips, clarinet; Dr. Hui-Ting Yang, piano; and Dr. James Zingara, trumpet.
    Zingara will conduct a master class for PRCC students Thursday afternoon.
    The public is invited to attend the concert.
