PRCC’s Weathers named to All-MACJC second team
Lady Wildcat sophomore receives honor

    POPLARVILLE — Pearl River Community College forward Brittany Weathers has been named to the All-MACJC second team for the 2009-2010 season.
    Weathers, a sophomore who prepped at Oak Grove High School, was one of 11 players from the MACJC South Division to be named to the elite first or second-team squads.
    First-team selections include Octavia Bearden of Southwest Mississippi, Tenecka Carey of Jones County, Danielle Cole of East Central, and Latoria Holder and Rachel Vigers, both of Copiah-Lincoln.
    Joining Weathers on the second team are Takeya Felder of Southwest Mississippi, Kiara Johnson of Mississippi Gulf Coast, Ashley Lee of Jones County, Kiana McCarty of Hinds, and Brandi Simmons of Copiah-Lincoln.
