Pearl River Community College is a public institution committed to providing quality educational and service opportunities for all who seek them.

Photograph of Huff HallPearl River Community College is one of the top 120 two-year colleges in the nation selected to compete for the prestigious Aspen Prize. Pearl River is a first-round finalist for the second year in a row.

Purpose of the prize is to reward and shine a spotlight on community colleges that deliver exceptional student results, to stimulate replication of successful campus practices and leadership and to contribute to the development of high-quality benchmarks for assessing student outcomes.

Ten finalists will be selected for the final competition. The Aspen Institute describes the finalists as community colleges that have produced outstanding results in how much students learn, how many complete their programs on time and how well students do in the job market after graduating.

Spring 2013 Exam Schedule

Spring exam scheduleA student with three examinations on one day may see their instructor on or before Wednesday, May 1, 2013, to request moving an examination to another day.

No changes are to be made in the test schedule without prior approval.

Honors Institute

The PRCC Honors Institute aims to provide the College's intellectually gifted students with an enriched and challenging curriculum, to foster individual scholarship and research, and to extend this spirit of academic enrichment beyond the campus into the community at large.
