Pearl River Community College is now accepting applications for the position of Academic Advisor for the Office of Student Success on the Poplarville Campus.  This is a twelve-month, full-time professional position that prefers a Master’s degree.  For a description of duties and responsibilities and to acquire an application packet for this position, contact Dr. Amy Townsend at atownsend@prcc.edu.  The deadline to apply is July 17, 2018.

Pearl River Community College is pleased to announce the position of Director of Human Resources. This position will be responsible for the development and administration of the institution’s centralized comprehensive HR management program, and the development and oversight of the various HR plans and procedures district wide. It will have responsibility for such areas as worker’s compensation, EEO regulations, compliance with state and federal regulations such as FMLA, DOL guidelines, and benefits administration. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred, in HR or business related field of study. At least three (3) years of HR leadership experience, preferably in the educational or state agency environment. The position will be available as of July 1, 2018. Pearl River Community College is now accepting applications for the position of G Instructor of Unmanned Aerial Systems Technology.  This is a full-time (9 month) professional grant-funded position.  Pearl River Community College is seeking a highly skilled individual with credentials certifying qualifications. Must provide certificates received that substantiate instructor/operator training. FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate with small UAS rating required. FAA Private Pilot or better rating preferred. Desired skills include UAS instructor experience performing in the classroom, field training, and hands-on flight training. Must be proficient in multirotor and fixed wing UAS manual flight control. Understand current FAA guidance regarding UAS operation in National Airspace. Manage radio communications when operating in all classes of airspace while operating in an airport environment. Perform instruction at multiple levels depending on student knowledge / capability; provide classroom instruction, hands-on training, and operating UAS.

Pearl River Community College is now accepting applications for the position of Instructor of Welding for the PRCC Forrest County Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. This is a full-time 9-month position teaching afternoon and night welding classes. Interested applicants should have a minimum of a 45-hour technical certificate, two years of relevant work experience within the last five years, and NCCER level 1 and core certifications.  An Associate degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred.   Application deadline is Thursday, July 12, 2018.

Pearl River Community College is now accepting applications for the position of ADA/VA Coordinator (FCC) at the Forrest County Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.  This is a full-time, support-staff position. Pearl River Community College is now accepting applications for a position in the Dental Assisting Technology Department at the Forrest County Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.  This position includes didactic instruction, laboratory instruction, and some administrative duties.  Qualified applicants should possess at minimum a bachelor’s degree and must be a Dental Assisting National Board “Certified Dental Assistant” with occupational experience in the application of fourhanded dentistry principles.  In addition, individuals must have a thorough understanding of the use of technology as a supplemental instructional tool.  Applicants with experience with education theory and methodology are preferred.  Additional duties will include but are not limited to: membership on college committees, sponsorship of student organizations, and advisement of students in Dental Assisting.   Interested applicants should submit a resume, instructor application (available at http://www.prcc.edu/files/faculty/instructorsapp.pdf), three letters of reference, and an educational philosophy to Dr. Shana Allen (sallen@prcc.edu).  The deadline to apply is Thursday, July 19, 2018.
