The Lunch and Learn project began at the directive of Dr. William Lewis, the President of Pearl River Community College. Ms. Brenda Wells, Director of Institutional Research, was given the responsibility of planning, developing, and implementing Lunch and Learn activities. Lunch and Learn sessions are currently scheduled on a quarterly basis in cooperation with the Poplarville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Poplarville Mayor, and the Poplarville City Board. Topics focus primarily on issues pertinent to local businesses and citizens, as well as addressing economic and community development.

2015 Lunch and Learn Sessions are outlined below. All meetings begin at 11:30 a.m. in the West Dining Room of the Olivia Bender Cafeteria. Tickets are $7.00 for Chamber members and $10.00 for non-Chamber members.
