Articulation Agreement
between the
Mississippi Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning
and the
Mississippi State Board for Community and Junior Colleges
The Articulation Agreement that exists between the the Mississippi Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL) and the Mississippi State Board for Community and Junior Colleges (SBCJC) is in place to provide a smooth transition for students between the community colleges in the state and the public four-year institutions.
The following guidelines are designed to aide students determine which classes can be taken at the community college during the freshman and sophomore year.
- Open the Articulation Agreement.
- Scroll through the Table of Contents (pages i - vi) to locate a particular major. (Page numbers are located at the bottom of each page in the document.)
- Determine the actual page number of the major.
- Scroll to that particular page to read the course requirements.
