Beginning AutoCAD

This course will use CAD software to design and draw various objects in the architectural, mechanical, and civil drafting areas. Emphasis will be placed on the operations of the CAD system to solve these problems.
Intermediate AutoCAD

This course is designed as a continuation of principles of CAD. Subject areas will include dimensioning, sectional views, auxiliary views, and symbols.
Advanced AutoCAD

This course explores the three-dimensional viewing and construction capabilities of CAD. Topics covered include a review of point coordinate entry, x, y, and z filters, and uses the user coordinate system (UCS). Spherical and cylindrical coordinate entry, 3D Viewing Techniques, 3D Geometry Construction, Surface Measures, Regions, and Solid Modeling are also introduced. The use of Paper Space, Model Space, and Multiple View Ports for 3D construction is covered. The creation of Presentation Graphing using Bitmap Files, Shading, and Rendering is also discussed.
Cost
The cost of AutoCAD classes is $175 per individual class or all 3 classes (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced) for $450. Payments can be made using cash, check or credit card and must be paid in full by the first day of class.
