Ms. Patricia Cone
Instructor of Speech
Patricia Cone, a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, received her bachelors in English and later obtained a masters in Communication. She also participated in the USM British Studies program.
Cone is an attending member of the Mississippi Speech Communication Association. She has judged both VICA and DECA competitions and assists with the PRCC participation in the American College Theater Festival.
Cone also served as a graduate assistant at the University of Southern Mississippi and as adjunct instructor in Speech Communications at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. She was previously employed as a department manager for Gayfers.
She lives in Hattiesburg with her husband, Scott, and their three children: Ryan, Kyle, and Kristen.
About her field, Cone said, "Our goal is to offer instruction and educational exposure to each student. Much of the information provided will become a foundation on which to build personal and professional relationships."
