Trevor Hunt, a native of Vicksburg, received his Masters of Music in guitar and his Masters of Music in music theory from the University of Southern Mississippi where he was awarded a Graduate Teaching Assistantship in both areas. As a guitar student, Mr. Hunt won and placed in several regional competitions, both as a soloist and as a chamber musician. Mr. Hunt has participated in master classes with Christopher Parkening, Adam Holzman, Isaac Bustos, and others. In 2008, as a member of the Southern Miss Guitar Trio, he was awarded the opportunity to participate in the prestigious artist fellowship program of the Hampden-Sydney music festival which included study with renowned musicians such as William Wolfram and Tobey Appel. Mr. Hunt performs frequently and has served as adjudicator for several competitions throughout Mississippi.
