The Computer Programming
Technology curriculum is designed as a two-year program of study to prepare
the student for entry-level employment in a computer-related field.
Computer Programming Technology offers training in development of business
application software. An Associate of Applied Science degree is earned
upon successful completion of the Computer Programming curriculum.
Computer Programming Technology
is a two-year program of study designed to provide students with the specialized
knowledge and skills necessary for gaining employment. The instructional
program provides training in word processing, spreadsheets, and database
management applications; using, installing and configuring various operating
systems; and Visual Basic, C, and Database programming.
Admission Requirements:
Applicants for Computer Programming
Technology must have the following documents submitted:
1. PRCC Application for Admission;
2. An official transcript from an accredited high school indicating date
of
graduation or GED transcript indicating passing;
3. Official transcript from every college attended (if applicable);
4. ACT scores.
