Library Assistant 
Location: Forrest County Campus
Job Overview:  Preferred requirements include an Associate's degree, good computer skills, ability to work flexible hours, and successful completion of English Composition I.  Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the Librarian in aggregating resources for instructors and programs, planning and participating in library events, organizing and reshelving items in the library, and helping students with library resources

Financial Aid Specialist
Location:  Poplarville
Overview:  

  • Assist students and families with the process of applying for student financial assistance, including all federal, institution, and private sources available through the College.
  • Assist in the evaluation for financial aid applications and determination of eligibility for financial assistance.
  • Coordinate the front office and assists students and families coming into the office.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, data entry, document management, and prepare files for applicants of financial aid.
  • Attend ongoing required staff development and training, which includes internal departmental training, as well as state and federal training opportunities (may require travel).
  • Perform other responsibilities as determined by the Director of Financial Aid.

Education:  High School Diploma or GED; Associate Degree preferred
Experience:  Experience with federally funded government programs, and the ability to implement new procedures in the federal application process.

The individual must have a thorough understanding of the use of technology as a supplemental instructional tool, express an aspiration toward life-long learning, and have an awareness of working as a member of a departmental team. The position requires the instruction of clinical content, the possession of effective leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.

Instructor/Clinical Coordinator of Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Facilities Manager for the Ethel Holden Brownstone Center for the Arts
Location: Poplarville
Status: Full-time (12 months) Professional Staff
Overview: The Fine Arts and Communications Department is seeking to hire a full-time professional staff member at the Poplarville campus. The position requires nights and weekend responsibilities. Interested applicants must have experience working in a technical theatrical environment, possess knowledge of lighting and sound equipment, have experience in public event management, and possess computer skills relevant to theatrical trades. Duties will include but are not limited to: providing service to the renters and users by assisting in managing the facility usage schedule, including load-ins and load-outs; participating in site and facility inspections; providing service during rehearsals and events and supervising workers; running technical equipment and supervising workers who run technical equipment; and interfacing with independent contractors or vendors. Instructional Design Specialist
Location: Poplarville

Overview: The purpose of this position is to improve the online program by evaluating online classes and provide learning experiences to faculty that will allow them to improve the quality of online classes. Experience in instructional design, educational technology, or distance learning in higher education is recommended. Travel may be required between PRCC campuses.

Instructor of Unmanned Aerial Systems Technology
Location:  Hancock Campus
Overview/Educational Requirements:  Pearl River Community College is seeking a highly skilled individual with credentials certifying qualifications. Must provide certificates received that substantiate instructor/operator training. FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate with small UAS rating required. FAA Private Pilot or better rating preferred. Desired skills include UAS instructor experience performing in the classroom, field training, and hands-on flight training. Must be proficient in multirotor and fixed wing UAS manual flight control. Understand current FAA guidance regarding UAS operation in National Airspace. Manage radio communications when operating in all classes of airspace while operating in an airport environment. Perform instruction at multiple levels depending on student knowledge / capability; provide classroom instruction, hands-on training, and operating UAS.

Surgical Technology Instructor --- (ADJUNCT)
Location:  Forrest County Campus 
Job Description/Overview:  The Surgical Technology Program is seeking hire 2 full time instructors and 1 Adjunct.   Full time instructors will work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Adjunct hours will vary per semester. Responsibilities may include didactic and laboratory instruction in addition to clinical supervision, instruction and direction and guidance of clinical preceptors.
