High School Counselors

Dual Enrollment

-All forms are available and should be submitted through Dynamic Forms.

Information for High School Officials:

  1. Memorandum of Agreement must be signed and submitted every school year.
  2. For all Dual Enrollment/Dual Credit students, please advise them to complete an online admissions application located here. Students should use a PERSONAL email address on the application – not their high school email address.  This should always be the first step in the dual enrollment process.
  1. For Dual Enrollment courses taught at the high school, the counselor must submit the following by the required deadline each semester.
  • Request for High School Dual Enrollment course:  Allow one week from the time the request is submitted for the course(s) to be approved. New high school teachers that have not been approved by PRCC must provide the required documents listed on the form by April 30th.  This ensures adequate time for training and course preparation.
  • Course Roster
  • Updated High School Transcript with ACT scores noted.
  • Dual Enrollment Recommendation Form:  Students must begin the recommendation form.  It is posted under the Dual Enrollment tile in Riverguide.  Once the student submits the form, it is routed via Dyanmic Forms to their high school counselor.  The counselor will complete the form online, attaching transcripts and ACT scores.
  1. For Dual Enrollment students taking courses at a PRCC campus or online course, submit the required paperwork before the start date of the class. PRCC will provide the high school with deadlines for registration.  Registration typically begins in April (for Summer & Fall terms) and in November (for Spring terms).  For best course selections, requests should be submitted early in the registration period.
  1.  It is the responsibility of the high school to provide proper advisement to the dual enrollment students. Refer to the Mississippi Articulation Transfer Tool (MATT)when advising students.
  2. Direct any inquiries to PRCC Dual Enrollment by email atdualenrollment@prcc.edu.
