Billy Sue Stringer Cochran—1948-49 Wildcat Football

Cochran, a Marion County native who resides in Baton Rouge, La., came to Pearl River from Columbia High School, along with her coach, Jamie Turnage. Cochran played one season for Turnage and one season for coach Woodrow Daley.

Cochran is in her 39th year of teaching. “I teach Adapted Physical Education to the special students and have been involved in Special Olympics for years,” said Cochran. “I enjoy good health and especially enjoy my family, most especially the grandchildren.”
