MCCB Internet Outage - Friday, July 5th

The MCCB office will be migrating their datacenter to the State of Mississippi Information Technology Services’ datacenter that is located in Jackson. During this migration, the College’s primary connection to the Internet and ability to access all MCCB resources will be unavailable. The outage is scheduled to start at 6 AM on Friday, July 5th and continuing over the next several hours. During this time, access to River Guide, Canvas, Wildcat Web, and other resources that require authentication from the campus will be unavailable during the outage.

Systems Outage - Monday, May 13, 2019

OIT is currently working on a systems outage that is causing Banner, River Guide, Canvas, and other PRCC systems to be unreachable. OIT has all available resources working on the outage however there is not a clear timeline for when the systems will be back operational.

The Information Technology Services team will be performing maintenance on multiple systems and network equipment. During this time some network services will periodically be unavailable, as detailed below.

  • 5 PM – 10 PM Friday March 22nd
  • Periodic disruptions of all systems.

The Information Technology Services team will be performing maintenance on multiple systems and network equipment. During this time some network services will periodically be unavailable, as detailed below.

  • Periodic disruptions of all Windows systems.

Extended Service Window

  • 8 AM Friday December 14th – 5 PM Friday December 14th
  • Email will be unavailable or sporadic
  • VPN Users may need to download latest Forticlient version

The Information Technology Services team will be performing maintenance on multiple systems. During this time some network services will periodically be unavailable, as detailed below. Please note that disruptions should be short and distributed throughout the Window, with the exception of Banner.

This includes an extended service outage for Banner that will run through Sunday evening, September 2nd.

The Information Technology Services team will be performing maintenance on multiple systems. During this time some network services will periodically be unavailable, as detailed below. Please note that disruptions should be short and distributed throughout the Window, with the exception of Banner.

This includes an extended service outage for Banner that will run until the morning of Friday June 15th.

o Banner will be unavailable

Planned Maintenance Window - Friday, May 11 – Sunday, May 13th 2018

The Information Technology Services team will be performing maintenance on multiple systems and network equipment. During this time some network services will periodically be unavailable, as detailed below.

Extended Service Window:
• Friday, May 11th 5 pm – Sunday, May 13th 8 pm
o The Banner services (INB and Self Service) will be undergoing upgrades in preparation for Banner 9 coming this summer. The upgrades that need to be installed will require Banner to be unavailable starting Friday, May 11th at 5pm and will continue until Sunday, May 13th at 8 pm.

OIT Planned Maintenance Window - Friday, March 23rd, 2018

The Office of Information Technology will be performing scheduled maintenance on PRCC systems and network equipment during our monthly scheduled maintenance window. During this time network services will periodically be unavailable to systems as detailed below.
