Ms.
Schafer has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a concentration in graphic
design and printmaking from the University of South Alabama. She has been
with Pearl River Community College for two years. Previously, she worked
for five years in the Graphic Services Department at the University of
Southern Mississippi. During the summer, Ms. Schafer enjoys working on
a children’s book that she is writing and illustrating. She enjoys painting
with watercolor, taking walks, going picnicking and visiting zoos.

Community
College Network (CCN)
Developed
as a part of a federal grant, the Community College Network (CCN) connects
all fifteen public community colleges, Mississippi State University, and
the University of Mississippi Medical Center into one system. Using compressed
video technology and special communications lines, the system allows classes
and meetings to be broadcast throughout the state.
To
host a CCN event at Pearl River Community College, Poplarville campus call
Media Services at 601-403-1333. Media Services will contact Jackson
and all other sites to be connected. If other CCN sites are hosting,
Media Services will be notified of your event and will monitor if during
scheduled Media Services hours of operation. If after hours, Media Services
can train one person on the equipment in advance notice of conference or
class.
