ACT Boot Camp registration coming up

  Pearl River Community College will hold an ACT Boot Camp on Friday, Sept. 30, at the Hancock Center in Waveland.
  The camp is open to any junior or senior high school student preparing to take the ACT. It will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room in building five at the Hancock Center, 454 Highway 90, Suite D..
  The instructor, Dr. Jennifer Seal, is an education and ACT prep specialist. In addition to learning tips and techniques to improve their scores, she will provide students with a study guide.
  Cost is $50 and must be submitted by Friday, Sept. 9, by hand to the Hancock Center or mailed to Brenda Wells, director of professional and community development, Pearl River Community College, P.O. Box 5558, Poplarville, MS 39470.

Forrest County Center camp

  The camp is open to any junior or senior high school student preparing to take the ACT. It will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room in building five at the center, 5448 Highway 49, Hattiesburg.
  The instructor, Dr. Jennifer Seal, is an education and ACT prep specialist. In addition to learning tips and techniques to improve their scores, she will provide students with a study guide.
  Cost is $50 and must be submitted by Friday, Sept. 23, by hand to Missy Graves at the Forrest County Center or mailed to Brenda Wells, director of professional and community development, Pearl River Community College, P.O. Box 5558, Poplarville, MS 39470.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
