Hancock County students get scholarships

KILN – Pearl River Community College’s Hancock County Alumni Chapter held its annual scholarship awards banquet June 30. Those receiving scholarships for the 2015-16 school year include, seated from left, Lena Cornwell of Diamondhead, Harleigh Bennett of Pearlington, Adrianna Hoda of Kiln and Danielle Ladner of Waveland; standing, chapter officer J. Larry Ladner, Anthony Pitalo, Donte’ Benoit and Dylan Moore, all of Bay St. Louis, and chapter officer Frank Ladner. Funds for the scholarships are raised annually in May with the Hancock County Alumni Chapter’s golf tournament.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
