The Hattiesburg Women’s Club presented a $500 scholarship to Pearl River Community College student Annie Leon of Picayune Thursday at the Forrest County Center. Leon is a freshman student in the office systems technology department and a member of Phi Theta Kappa. On hand for the presentation were, from left, department chair Debbie Ferrill, Leon, club president Margaret Thomas and instructor Amy Smith. Leon’s scholarship will be for the 2016 fall semester.
