Magnolia Gold students clear trail

  POPLARVILLE – Cadets in the Magnolia Gold program at Pearl River Community College recently completed a community service project at Poplarville Upper Elementary School.
  The students cleared and cleaned an existing nature trail near the school so that it can be used by the younger students.
  Working on the project were Bjorn Byrd of Lumberton, Keith Mitchell of Carriere, Jamyrian Quinn and Justin McWilliams, both of Gautier; Markeysia Harness of Biloxi, Jared Johnson of Poplarville and Alan Marek of New Orleans.
  Magnolia Gold is the Mississippi Army National Guard’s military leadership program at the community college level. The program began at PRCC in the 2015 spring semester.

PRCC students in the Magnolia Gold military leadership program clear the nature trail at Poplarville Upper Elementary School.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
