Nursing 50-year reunion coming up

POPLARVILLE – The Pearl River Community College associate degree nursing program celebrates its Golden Anniversary this year.
A 50-year reunion will be held on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 16 and 17. The reunion is open to all graduates and guests.
“We encourage you to come back to campus and see how our wonderful institution has blossomed,” said Dr. Arlene Jones, director of nursing education. “You will also have time to stop by our PRCC Museum and enjoy a blast from the past.”
The Friday night event will be from 7 to 9 p.m. in the lobby of the Ethel Holden Brownstone Center for the Arts. Hor d’oeuvres will be served.
Those attending the reunion can choose between two registration packages for Saturday’s Homecoming Events.
Package one includes the Friday night reunion, Saturday Alumni Luncheon, football game and t-shirt for $55 for the graduate and $50 for guest (no shirt). Package two includes the Friday night reunion, Saturday football game and shirt for $35 for the graduate and $30 for the guest with no shirt included.
Participants who chose package two can attend the free Homecoming Carnival instead of the luncheon.
Registration deadline is Thursday, Oct. 1. Registration forms can be downloaded from the Pearl River Community College Facebook page, from the PRCC website at www.prcc.edu under the Recent News section or can be obtained by calling the PRCC Alumni Association at 601 403-1183.
