PRCC summer registration starts May 18

POPLARVILLE - Registration for summer classes at Pearl River Community College for new students begins Wednesday, May 18.Registration at the Hancock Center in Waveland will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 18.Registration at the Forrest County Center in Hattiesburg will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 19.Students can register at the Poplarville campus from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning May 18 and continuing through May 31 for first term classes and through June 29 for second term classes. Housing is available on the Poplarville campus.New students need to complete the admissions process prior to attending registration by going to <a href="../"></a> Notification will be sent to all new students regarding orientation.Summer Pell grants are available for those who qualify.Night classes begin on Monday, May 23, and day classes begin on Tuesday, May 31.In addition to the three campuses, PRCC is offering summer classes at satellite facilities. They include:nCarl Loftin Career and Technology Center, Columbia - English Composition I, Personal and Community Health, American History I, Intermediate Algebra and College Algebra.nPace Headstart Center, Hattiesburg - Child Development I and II, Languarge and Literacy Development and Social Studies for Preschool Children.nPicayune Headstart Center - Child Development II and Creative Arts for Young Children.nSumrall High School - English Composition I and II, World Civilization I, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, General Psychology and Public Speaking I.
