River basketball signs South Pike star

POPLARVILLE South Pike High School basketball standout DeAngelo Coleman has signed on with the Pearl River Community College Wildcats for the 2012-2013 season. Coleman, a 5-foot-9 point guard, averaged 23 points, five rebounds, five assists, and three steals a game for head coach Joe Taylor SPHS squad last season. Coleman was named to the Daily Leader All-Area team, as well as Mr. Basketball and Most Valuable Player by the Brookhaven-based newspaper. He is the son of Anglia Coleman and resides in the McComb-Magnolia area.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
