Wildcats Never Quit Scholarship Drawing announced

POPLARVILLE, Miss. — As Pearl River Community College prepares for the summer and fall semesters it is offering returning students an incentive to register now instead of later.

Pearl River is encouraging the registration of returning students for summer and fall semesters by creating the Wildcats Never Quit Scholarship Drawing.

Two lucky members of the Wildcat Family will win a non-refundable half-tuition scholarship. Students interested in entering the drawing must be registered by April 24, 2020 — that’s it.

Students must be enrolled in at least 15 hours for an upcoming semester to be entered into this drawing and students who registered before the announcement of this contest will be included.

The scholarship may be selected for either summer or fall term and is subject to PRCC guidelines

Returning students wishing to start the registration process should click the “Find My Advisor” button in RiverGuide.

“We want students to know that PRCC is still moving forward,” Associate Vice President of Marketing and Communication Candace Harper said. “We are Mississippi’s fastest growing community college and we continue to remain that way by providing an affordable, accessible, and efficient education.

“This scholarship encourages our Wildcats to never quit. We hope they always continue to work toward their goals and PRCC will continue to be here to help students attain them.”

Winners will be announced May 8, 2020.
