Lady Wildcat tennis standout boasted a 3.66 grade-point average

POPLARVILLE - Pearl River Community College tennis standout Alyssa Wolfe has been named an NJCAA Academic All-American for the 2009-2010 school year.

Wolfe, a sophomore who prepped at West Marion High School, boasted a 3.66 grade-point average during the school year to earn the honor. She played No. 3 singles for the Lady Wildcat squad, finishing the season with a 5-9 record.

In addition, Wolfe teamed with Kasey King of Purvis High as PRCC's No. 1 women's doubles team.
