Cheerleading Tryouts - Deadline for Athletic Waiver

Cheerleading Tryouts 2017

Optional Clinics: January 29, February 26, and March 26 from 1-3 pm in Marvin R. White Coliseum. Clinics are $10. These clinics will focus on stunting, tumbling and fight song review.

Mandatory Tryout Clinics: Thursday, March 30 and Friday, March 31 from 4-6 in Shivers gym. These days we will go over tryout materials (dance, cheer, fight song, stunts, etc...).

Tryouts: Saturday, April 1 at 9am in Marvin R. White Coliseum. Please be there 30 mins prior to warm up.

We will be hosting our annual Career and Technical Education Day on Friday, March 24 from 9 am until 1 pm.  Students from local high schools will be tour our CTE facilities and meeting with instructors from those programs. 

Float Decorating

Wednesday, October 26, 2016 (All day) to Friday, October 28, 2016 (All day)

A float frame will be placed in front of your dorm.
Also, a variety of decorating supplies will be left with it. Be creative, figure out how to make it awesome.

  • Wednesday Morning Until Friday
  • Evening Everything will be delivered to front of the dorm.
  • Be Creative!! Theme is: The River is Rising!
  • Judges will select their favorite float. Winning dorm will get pizza delivered the following week. A LOT OF PIZZA!!!

Tie Dye Event

Come enjoy the breeze and sunny weather under the Oaks. While you are chilling out, make a tie dye shirt with us. It’s easy, stylish, and fun.

  • 11 am – 6 pm
  • Under the lane of Oaks between Lamar Hall and the Outdoor Court
  • All dying supplies will be provided
  • Bring your own item to tie dye.
  • White 100% cotton shirts work best Shirts to dye and other clothing items are available in the Wildcat Den Bookstore

College Fair

Plan to attend Pearl River Community College’s 2016 College Fair on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm in the Great Hall of Crosby Hall on the Poplar vile Campus.
