The Afro-American Cultural Society (AACS) meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 a.m. until noon in Moody Hall, Room 107, for the purpose of providing social and cultural activities for PRCC students who are concerned with Afro-American interests, using social functions and group discussions on topics of mutual interests.
(Executive Council meetings are held every 1st Wednesday in the Library from 6 until 7 p.m.)

Preamble:

We, the members of the AFRO-AMERICAN CULTURAL SOCIETY of Pearl River Community College, hereby associate ourselves as of December 1, 1995 for the purpose of providing both social and cultural activities for students of this college who are concerned with Afro-American interests.  Our organizational activities will include social functions for members, campus orientation for new student members, a place for informal meetings, and group discussions on topics of mutual interest.  In all aspects this organization shall abide by the rules and regulations of Pearl River Community College.
The AACS schedules special activities for members.  Among these are: The Annual Fall Talent/Fashion Show; AACS Founder's Day; Mississippi Black BSU Retreat; Annual Black History Program; a blood drive; and a yearly field trip.

Dues for AACS are $10 per semester and are payable by November 2, 1999.
