For the third time this season, Pearl River Community College redshirt freshman Kobe Lie (Hattiesburg) has been recognized by the MACJC as Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week.
Lie, who prepped at North Forrest High School, was key to the Wildcats’ championship in the MACJC/Region 23 Tournament last week, saving 26 shots.

RIDGELAND – Pearl River Community College will play for another MACJC state championship Sunday after a brilliant second half netted the Wildcats a 3-0 victory over East Central Saturday in the State Tournament semifinals at Freedom Ridge Park.

Pearl River Community College showed its mettle when it mattered most Tuesday night against Southwest Mississippi.
Freshman Joe Elliot (Leicester, England) scored from 50 yards away with less than five minutes to play in regulation to give the Wildcats a dramatic 2-1 victory in the South Division contest at the PRCC Sports Complex.
PRCC (4-1 overall, 2-1 division) moved into sole possession of second place in the South with the victory. Southwest (5-2, 1-2) lost its second straight game after a 5-0 start.
