POLICY OF BOARD OF TRUSTEES PEARL RIVER COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Policy: Pearl River Community College Board of Trustees is authorized by law to appoint Advisory Committees/Councils.
Procedure: The principal purpose of advisory committees/councils is to promote greater cooperation between the College and the private sector. These committees/councils are made up mostly of private sector members who have volunteered their time, talent, and knowledge to help strengthen the quality of education provided by the College. The committees/councils will assist in the development and oversight of activities of the instructional programs of the College and/or any other activity that provides for the College to assist in economic development and related benefits to the people in the counties it serves. Pearl River Community College offers equal education and employment opportunities.
