Welcome to a tour of Pearl River Community College's Poplarville campus.  Founded as Pearl River County Agricultural High School in 1909 and one of the first agricultural high school in the state, Pearl River Community College has always led the way in the educational field.  PRCC begin offering college level courses in 1921—the first of Mississippi's agricultural high schools to do so—making it the first publicly funded junior college in the state of Mississippi, and sixteenth in the nation.  The Poplarville campus is the site of the original Pearl River County Agricultural High School.  With almos 300 acres of rolling hills, the Poplarville campus is the site of several buildings that were erected during the high school years.  Read the complete history of PRCC for more information.
