Career-Technical
Building
1966 was
a building year for PRCC with the construction of the Science Building,
the stadium and the Career and Technical Building. The Career-Technical
building is the largest structure on the campus with 47,216 square feet
of classroom, office, and shop space. Many of the Career courses
are located in this building, including: Cosmetology; Welding; Residential
Carpentry; Barbering, and the Technical courses, Child Development Technology;
Machine Shop Technology; Electrical Technology; and Heating, Air Conditioning,
and Refrigeration Technology.
Located
at the corner of Highway 11 frontage road and the north entrance of College
Drive, the Career-Technical Building is behind Shivers Gym.
