The Mall
The Mall is located across from the Information Technology Building and between Crosby Hall and Pearl River Hall.  The Mall consists of three main buildings:  The Olivia Bender cafeteria, built in 1994; The Enoch Seal, Jr. Academic Building, built in 1968; and The Garvin H. Johnston Library, built in 1968.
The Olivia Bender Cafeteria
Olivia Bender Cafeteria (left), a part of the Crosby Hall Student Life Center is a spacious building designed to meet PRCC's growing needs.  With 19,797 square feet it has the capacity for seating 600 in a spacious dining hall.  It also contains a board room, a stage for programs, two private dining rooms, kitchen area, storage area, two offices.  The newly added area (finished in 2003) features a Great Hall with a TV lounge area, expanded grill facilities, conference room, study room, student activities office, and a new conference center was added to the north end of Bender cafeteria.Seals Academic Building
 
 
 

Seal Hall (right), was named for the Dean of Academic Affairs, who spent a total of 35 years in service to PRCC.  This one story building contains twelve classrooms and nineteen offices and primarily serves the Department of English and Social Sciences.

The Learning Resource CenterThe Garvin H. Johnston Library (left) is one of three components that make up the the Learning Resource Center.  The other two components, the learning assistance laboratory (learning lab) and media services reside in the Johnston Library Building.  With a collection of 45,000 books and 5,200 bound periodicals that can be retrieved through the on-line public access catalog and a collection of 300 current periodicals available for student use, the library provides access to research and study materials.  The learning assistance laboratory (below).The Learning Resource Center--learning lab entrance contains computers with internet access, tutorials and study aids, and word processing programs; video cassette tutorials and learning aids; and multi-media instructional materials.  The media services component provides multi-media instructional materials including still photography and video production, layout and design, and computer assisted publication services.
