Seal Hall (right), was named for the Dean of Academic Affairs, who spent a total of 35 years in service to PRCC.  This one story building contains twelve classrooms and nineteen offices and primarily serves the Department of English and Social Sciences.

The Garvin H. Johnston Library (left) is one of three components that make up the the Learning Resource Center.  The other two components, the learning assistance laboratory (learning lab) and media services reside in the Johnston Library Building.  With a collection of 45,000 books and 5,200 bound periodicals that can be retrieved through the on-line public access catalog and a collection of 300 current periodicals available for student use, the library provides access to research and study materials.  The learning assistance laboratory (below). contains computers with internet access, tutorials and study aids, and word processing programs; video cassette tutorials and learning aids; and multi-media instructional materials.  The media services component provides multi-media instructional materials including still photography and video production, layout and design, and computer assisted publication services.
