There is life after class at Pearl River.  Besides the regular team athletic activities, you might choose to participate in the arts...band, choir, show choir, theater, musicals, as well as visual arts.  Or you might decide to spend some of your free time playing intramural sports...flag football, volleyball, softball...even board games.  There's always something going on.  The year is loaded with all kinds of other events, too...from dances to pageants.

You might be interested in one of the many fine student organizations on campus, such as:  the Christian Student Union, the Baptist Student Union, the Wesley Foundation, Phi Theta Kappa or any of a number of academic, social, religious, or career related organizations.

You can expect to broaden your social horizons at Pearl River.  Campus life is friendly and relaxed with the new Student Life Center in the middle of the campus...a great place to meet friends, grab a quick snack in the grill, watch TV in the lounge, or just socialize with your firends.

The museum in the center of the campus will tell you all about Pearl River's rich history and the new chapel on the west side of the campus offers a quiet place to reflect on higher things after a trying day.

Of course, Poplarville is ideally situated for dining, shopping, or entertainment with Hattiesburg 35 minutes north, the Mississippi Gulf Coast 45 minutes to the southeast and New Orleans a little over an hour to the southwest.
