Choosing a college could well be the most important decision you'll ever make!  Nothing affects your future any more than your decision to go to college, and the college you choose could mean the difference between success and failure!
If you're like most high school seniors, selecting a college can be a frustrating experience. How do I know if it's the right choice?  How much does it cost?  Can I get a scholarship?  Can I get financial aid? But most important...

WHERE  CANI FIND  THE ANSWERS?

Another question you might have...Is a community college right for me?  We have a page especially devoted to answering this question.  You might be surprised at the answers you find on this page....for instance...did you know that students who begin at a community college usually do better at university then the students who took their freshman and sophomore work in the university?
Academic courses are designed for the student who will go on to a four-year institution to obtain a Bachelor's degree.  Technical courses are designed for the student who wants to get a good grounding in his or her preferred field and then go to work after two years of school.  Career courses are for the student who wishes to go to school for a year and then go to work.  Pearl River College offers counselors who can help you find where you fit in. They can help you discover your own niche and help you prepare to get there.

Never been to Pearl River College's campuses before?  You might want to take the virtual tour.  Pearl River Community College is the state's oldest publicly funded two-year college.  The campus features historic buildings situated on one of the loveliest campuses in the south.  A complementary blend of old and new enhances the student's learning experience.
